Clean Your Face to Prevent Acne and Meet Face-to-Face Again
Acne and acne spots can become horribly embarrassing. If you think about it, the first thing a person notices when they see you is your face. Sometimes, just covering up your acne isn't enough. I'm sure that if you had your choice, you'd want to find a way to get rid of acne by not just cover it up, which can still be seen from a mile away. You'd want to find a way to get rid of your acne for good. If you are disciplined enough; eliminating acne can be done. All you need to do is to clean your face to prevent acne.
Acne is often interchanged with the term, pimples. Pimples are essentially clogged pores resulting from over active oil glands that can leave scars. The excess oil allows bacteria to become locked inside the pores, causing inflammation. Your environment can also cause clogged pores because your face is exposed to dirt, dust, oil, and pollution.
The best way to prevent acne is to clean your face regularly. When cleaning your face, you'll want to wash with an oil-free facial cleanser twice a day. Once in the morning or after your workout then again before you go to bed.
The reason why cleaning your face before you go to bed is so important is to remove all the impurities listed above that your face attracts throughout the day. On the contrary, cleaning your face after you wake stems from the fact that as you sleep, your skin rejuvenates itself pushing impurities from the bottom to the surface of your skin.
Exercise has both good and bad impacts on acne. Exercise helps to release toxins from your body but the sweat from exercise, caused by an intense workout, can aggravate acne if you don't wash your face immediately after a workout. Therefore, do your best to wash your face immediately after your workout. If you work out at they gym but don't necessarily get dressed at the gym, you still want to take a moment to wash your face before you leave. The sooner you can clean your face, the better.
If you choose to wash your face with a medicated cleanser, you may want to follow with a regular gentle facial cleanser. When looking for facial cleansers opt to buy only oil-free and non-comedogenic facial cleansers. The best way to wash your face is by using only your bare hands then pat your face dry with a towel. Try not to rub the skin too hard, as this causes irritation.
Other things that can contribute to acne, besides oily skin, are allergies, stress, nutritional deficiencies, over-washing, repeated rubbing, hormones, and heredity.
